Mirror

I think the concept of souls is so fascinating, especially in the context of people with intertwined fates or backgrounds. This piece was actually originally a backstory for a Dungeons and Dragons character, albeit with somewhat different ending. But I sort of combined my fun little story about tragic twin souls with the concept of a mirror monster. On that front, I was inspired by a few pieces of media. Also by those moments when you’re alone and catch a glimpse of your reflection out of the corner of your eye and it startles you.
